BROOKSVILLE | B.J. Pitzen helped three-time European Tour winner Pablo Martin at the second stage of the Web.com Tour qualifying tournament at Southern Hills Plantation Club November 11-14. Martin carded his best round of the tournament out of the gates with a 3-under-par 69, but faded in the third round with a 2-over-par 74 and needed a 5-under par or better in the final round to secure his spot in the Web.com Tour Final stage. Martin shot 1-under 71 and failed to get one of the 19 spots available and ties to advance to the Finals at PGA National's Fazio and Champion courses in Palm Beach Gardens. Pitzen helped Martin to a tie for 30th place out of 78 competitors.
